Ian Imrie

Overview

Ian Imrie has gained some fantastic visibility within the industry. In 2003, he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on the "Tonight Show Side Show" as a guest with crazy abilities. From there, he took to the road and toured Canada as a stand up comedian and competed in Yuk Yuk's Funniest New Comic. As the runner up within this contest he took to another stage and began acting with the Second City Improv team in Toronto. As his acting abilities developed he jumped to the small screen and won Best Actor for "Vending Machine" (BC Lions Cheering Works campaign) at the Bessie Awards.

Experience

Comedy and stage performance has been the main experience with several on-camera credentials. This experience has led to the amazing opportunity to work with key performers such as Robin Williams and Doug Stanhope as well as national exposure with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. Multiple commercials on camera credentials as well as video game voice-over work with video games as Damnation and Battle for the Pacific as well Comics on the Run. Ian has a diverse range of character voices, and loves trying to find the perfect voice for characters in video games and cartoons.
