A large part of working in a retail florist settings is centered around customer service over the phone. I handle phone calls from all over the world, and have perfected the skill of an effective, friendly, confident, empathetic and controlled phone voice. Customers call with orders for everything from a bat mitzvah, funeral, to a simple "happy spring" gift, and I am required to respond accordingly. A lot is conveyed through my voice in a phone call, by reassuring the person on the other end that I can handle whatever they throw at me. I have received incredible feedback over the years about how my customers trust me, and feel comfortable letting me help them with whatever they need.
