Voice acting has been a talent of mine since childhood. A childhood friend of mine had a hobby of creating characters and off the wall stories. We would record these characters and the quirky characters on cassette tapes, often time in a free form or improvisational manner. It was fun and kept us out of trouble. I cannot recall how many tapes we have made. There must have been nearly a hundred!
Side note, as a young man in High School, I remember a time when I walked down the empty halls during class time and singing. I really did not care that I might have been disturbing the in-session classes. One of the Adult Hallway Walkers accosted me only to say, You have a powerful voice! and that was all. I really think he was impressed, and it was the first time I ever thought of my voice like that!
I have:
1. taken voice lessons, I'm a bass with 4 octaves or so range.
2. led meetings and presentations and public speaking events. (Thank you, Toasmasters International)
3. read many books out loud to the delight of friends and unknown friends. (This is the term I use for acquaintances or strangers)
4. and, as I stated at the beginning of this overview, have well over the Gladwell Hours required for voice acting mastery.
If you are interested in hiring someone with:
1. love for a challenge,
2. unmitigated vocal imagination,
3. charisma,
4. synergistic commitment to fulfilling your vision,
then please, look no further and give me a call. I am the one you were looking for this whole time! I can wholeheartedly promise you that!
