I’d say I have a wide vocal range, but my speaking voice is a tenor. I can speak in almost any vocal range. I’m really interested in voicing characters that are humor-driven. I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh. I have 3 children and have always read to them in different voices. I’ve got a great work ethic, and love to work with many different people (especially difficult ones, so I can try to get through to them!). From an early age, I was very aware of my voice and the impact it can have on those around me. When I was 11, my family and I moved from South Louisiana to Williamsburg, VA where my classmates constantly teased me for my thick Cajun accent. I would come home every day from school with a heavy heart, and I would watch the Weather Channel. I would spend my evenings trying to copy the way the anchors spoke, and was eventually able to hide my Cajun accent very well.

I don’t have any experience as a voice actor, but have always been told by strangers that I should be on the radio. Recently, while rock climbing, I was approached by two guys who told me that they were out-of-state radio producers and that I had to get into voice acting because I had a “perfect FM voice”.
Unfortunately, I do not have any industry experience, but I have taken many public speaking lessons, as well as classical opera lessons. I love to sing and play music, and I have had a career that allowed me to speak in front of large groups of people. I was a chef as well as a food and beverage director for years.

I think that the key to success is not only doing your job well, but helping those around you perform to the best of their abilities. I love working on a team, and I will always be the positive energy in the room that helps to motivate others. Having worked in restaurants my entire career, I am used to working insanely long hours. I never stop until I’ve done my job to the highest standard.
