I have a warm Barry White kind of voice. I can do the hard sell car commercial voice, the over the top drill Sargent, the movie trailer guy (like the late Don LaFontaine and the awesome Steve Downes), and I am really good at narration as well (Audio books, Documentaries etc...). I have a regular guy next door voice too that I have been working to perfect. Additionally, I have an Australian accent that I perform quite well and a wide range of character voices that are perfect for video game, and animated movie voice overs. I am very diverse, and work very well with others. I get along with most everyone I meet, and I even have a sense of humor. I am not afraid to put in extra hours to expedite a job, I have my own equipment including Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Studio X, and Source Connect located in a studio in my home. I am a US Air Force veteran. I proudly served in Desert Shield/Storm. It is my honor to serve any and all veterans that need my services at military/veteran discount rates. I just graduated from Arkansas State University with a MSMC in Media and Communications

In the 80"s, I got a job performing in store announcements for Sears. I fell in love with the recording business about then, however, life steered me away from the business temporarily. As a kid I used to play with my 8 track tape player recording all kinds of stuff mostly my voice and music from the radio. I eventually joined the Air Force and served about 7 years on active duty, and worked another 9 years as a civilian for the government. After my long tenure with the government I worked for a couple of different companies then decided I needed to be self employed. I started my first business in a small town in Tennessee, it was not a huge success but it paid the bills, and I got to be my own boss.
I have only worked for myself since then, I have owned a few businesses some worked some didn't but the one thing that I was really missing was a proper education. So I got on the internet filled out some education forms for the VA and voila, 7 years later I have a Masters Degree in Media and Communications.
While in college I created commercials for Television and radio stations in my local area, and I have performed PSA reads for 91.9 KASU at Arkansas State University. I have also created and produced radio shows, television shows, and a couple of documentaries. Additionally I have created promotional videos for the Beck P.R.I.D.E Center for Americas Wounded Veterans. I have been a sports producer and broadcaster, and I have performed with my voice in many professional productions. Additionally, I have posted a growing but small sampling of my works on YouTube under my Nerferboomer label. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I hope to be doing business with you in the near future.
