Overview
Versatile. Warm. Professional. Energetic. Friendly. Neighborly. Personable. Smooth. I can go from the guy next door, or a creepy British billionaire, to a jive-talker and that announcer at Disneyland. Need Mickey Mouse? I've got him. Need the Sheriff of Nottingham to debate George W. Bush while Truman Capote mocks them? Not a problem, all in one take.

Experience
Speaks In Toons is probably the best way to sum me up; I've loved comedy and have been doing character voices and impressions since childhood. At a young age, comedy hit me and hit me hard - the youngest of seven children, I knew making people laugh (cliche moment) was my way of getting attention.
I can trace my love and appreciation for comedy & impressions back to the stand-up I ever saw, Eddie Murphy's Raw. I have great appreciation for Bob Newhart and Jack Benny's dry humor and of course Phil Hartman's ability to make anything seem funny. Often times, I would stay up to watch SNL and the next day, alone, I would act out the skits from the night before. And voiceover greats like Corey Burton, Stephen Stanton and Jim Cummings have inspired me to push myself deeper into a character.
As a young teen, I would do impressions based on SNL skits from the 1992 Presidential debate between George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton & Ross Perot. That was in 8th - I kept getting big laughs from my classmates. I would often doze off and a teacher would recognize my need for the spotlight and would often ask me a question as if I were Bill Clinton or even Abraham Lincoln. It would get my brain buzzing and a laugh surely came.
When I moved to Los Angeles, I got a job working in the mail-room at Paradigm Talent Agency. From there I moved into talent management, learning the trade from veteran Manager, Jeri Scott - working with such actors as Stellan Skarsgard, Fred Ward & Gary Basaraba. I also befriended the great Bernie Brillstein; I figured of Bernie discovered so many talented people, maybe his genius would rub off on me. I eventually started a small management firm of my own. After several years, I left Los Angeles to be close to my ailing father, who I consider one of the the funniest men I've ever known. Since my fathers passing, I have been training in voiceover with Edge Studios, Character Pros & with the Voice Actors Network.
For the first time ever, I performed a live stage reading of Igor Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale - doing three voices with the Mission San Jose Orchestra - it was a challenge to get it all in one take, live with an audience and having to learn how to read & sing along to music.
