My natural voice is warm and positive. I tend to do well as an upbeat authority. I have experience in technical fields, so I'm usually good with technical terms and informative voiceover. I also have experience in sales and education, so I usually get what you might be looking for with those assignments. When I move my voice around, I can go for most British and southern accents. Depending on the project, my voice can also go pretty deep.
I have the physical tools to do most work and the positive attitude and coachability that make me easy to work with.
I believe in positive collaboration. I'm a good listener and excellent at interpreting texts, so we will get where you want to go! If there are language or stylistic concerns, I'm always glad to help smooth out a script, if (and only if!) you request my input in that way.Read More

Still here? Fine. My other relevant experiences are threefold:
Perhaps most importantly, I’ve had a passion for using my voice in so many of the ways asked of voiceover artists. My life is littered with humorous accents and gentle mimicry. My favorite example of this is reading, with roughly a billion different accents, all seven Harry Potter books out loud. Twice. The target audiences responded with extreme enthusiasm.
I have also written, recited, edited and taught pretty much all forms of writing at the university, corporate and private levels. I understand how texts work and the ways in which messages are effectively delivered. I have frequently dealt with technical concepts and vocabulary.
Finally, I have run a successful national company for the last 16 years, so I understand deadlines, reliability and the other tenets of professionalism. In my experience, without professional commitment the other things are not worth much.
I should add that although I would never offer without being asked, I am able to collaborate on writing and editing if that is helpful to any given situation or script.
