New York, New York, US
Vocally growing up in the south-west of England, being surrounded by that dialect but mainly speaking in RP English myself, I learnt how to go between dialects quickly from a young age. Also receiving training in how to speak with a Cockney accent for various stage plays; Oliver and The Threepenny Opera and a German accent for Cabaret.
Moving across to the states and now residing in NYC for the past two years, I've had time to really work on my General American accent and strengthing it not just within stage & screen roles, but also with voice over work.
I've not only done voice over work for the screen but also for 2 web commercials that are yet to be released and for a small local business in the Tri-state area. I've also recorded and worked on demo narrations for a children's book with a local company looking to build up its in-house voice over artists.

I also took classes in speech, voice & movement, Shakespeare, Meisner, scene study, combat for film and short form and long form Improvisation.
Before that, in the UK I was a member of the Bristol Old Vic Young Company for 2.5 years acting in various plays devised in-house.
I also trained at the 'Actors Workshop' in Bristol, UK. Here I learnt audition prep, monologue performance, scene study, classical text (Shakespeare and Chekhov), dance, improvisation and vocal technique.

As a voice artist with experience in the US & UK, on films, spoken word pieces, audio books and corporate projects I can deliver an array of skills, dialects and vocal types. My vocal range is pretty broad allowing me to higher my pitch for child parts and create a more mature and lowered, softer tone for other roles.
I typically record and edit from home but am more than comfortable working in the studio. I have experience recording songs, hosting radio and acting in the studio so I understand the need for exactness, consistency, professionalism and patience.
I bring my all to every project I work on and have fun while doing it. I love collaborating and working with new people from all over the world and I love that voice acting allows us as actors to break down barriers that usually hold us back and explore parts of ourselves we never usually get to access.
"Sancha brings with her an air of professionalism and preparedness to every project that every director hopes for from an actor on set and in the studio. She is open to new ideas, adapts to direction quickly and is a true collaborator. Her talent goes beyond surface layer and is a great balance of natural gift and hard work." - Kasey Rae, Director of Chaotic Pursuits.Skylah Productions, NYC.
"I have known and taught Sancha for the past two years – both in my capacity as director of The Actors’ Workshop and as her private singing teacher. Sancha is a remarkable young woman with obvious talent, acute intelligence and a very dry sense of humour. The Actors Workshop
Sancha is a highly intelligent and creative actor and a versatile singer. She brings both her heart and her head to the table: her intuitive responses are informed by sharp analytical insight. Sancha absorbs new ideas like a sponge, throwing herself fearlessly into the work and reacting with insight and imagination to every stimulus she is given. She connects very easily with her own emotional world and uses this instinctively to bond character and impulse. Increasingly, she is moving out of her comfort zone or journeying to unfamiliar or uncomfortable places in order to tell a story.
Sancha inhabits a role or a speech with intelligence and empathy, using thorough research to underpin her imaginative responses. Sancha can be focused and passionate on stage, allowing us to experience the unfolding action from moment to moment. Her responses are sharp and immediate, her commitment absolute.
Sancha has studied singing with me for almost two years now and now has a solid technique (Estill model) and a good understanding of vocal physiology. Sancha sings confidently in all six vocal qualities. She is secure in high belt and has excellent range and tonal variety. More than anything, Sancha acts through song with passion and truth, bringing to this work her skills as an actor plus a very natural musicality." - Clara Marullo, Director & Singing Teacher.
