With a YouTube channel called "The Comic box", which is mainly focused around Voice Acting, I have gotten to see most sides of the internet. With my channel having over 13,000 subscribers, and over 2.9 million total views, I have experienced it all. From the community aspect, and how they feel about modern day media, all the way to working with Companies, and experiencing how they go about advertising their products, and most importantly, how Voice Acting plays a main role in it.
Based in a small town in Ontario, the internet has always been a big way for me to interact with people outside of my area. Constantly interacting with most types of media, has given me the opportunity to become immersed in all that the internet can do. Be it the small communities, that most people usually ignore, all the way up to the advertising companies, and how they show to the world their product.
Because of these experiences, I have learned that most consumers can tell when an artist isn't genuine and authentic, and because of that, it has been my job for my work to be the highest quality it can be. For the sake of the Employee, and also the consumer.
My vocal range consists of anywhere from 14, to about mid 30's. A smooth voice is what you will get. Going from the slower, more dramatic tone, all the way up to the high energy, enthusiastic tone. I can go from professional, to dorky at the drop of a hat. An approachable, kind sounding voice is what you will generally receive when talking to me in a regular conversation, and I always want my work to be as genuine as possible. Consumers will realize when someone isn't giving their all. So I strive to do the best I can, in any given situation.
