My 3-octave singing range places me in the baritone / bass camp, my speaking voice can easily be used to represent characters of almost any age, and I can speak for hours in a higher range or lower, depending on the part. I have a remarkable facility for picking up accents, and that, coupled with an awareness and respect for the history of voice acting, makes me an ideal candidate for parts ranging from dry narration to an emotionally invested character. A marathon recording session is no problem - while recording the scratch voice for Baymax (for BIG HERO 6), we spent more than 2 hours taking the character through various permutations of "inebriation" to simulate low battery life, an exercise that proved invaluable to the actor who eventually played the role onscreen, as my edited takes served as a blueprint for the final scene. I can also sing in-character.
