Jim McNabb is a retired journalist and talent based in Austin, Texas. He's seen TV news go from black and white film to digital. He's seen radio news virtually disappear due to deregulation. He critiques media in his blog, (Website hidden).
Jim McNabb’s distinctive delivery is powerful, yet flexible. His voice is immediately recognizable to longtime Central Texans who connect him with broadcast news. Others will be drawn to his authoritative presence.
The voice is an instrument, and McNabb knows how to play it.
A narration, a character, an interpretative recitation, a “newscast”—He can and will do it all. Like almost everyone else in South Austin, he is a songwriter/singer with seven CDs. He is the TV "anchorman" in the film "Elvis and Anabelle" released on DVD, June 29, 2010.
