I have always been told that my voice is very calming and at times soothing. I have always had great success assisting the public in person and over the phone because being patient, knowledgeable, and speaking in a pleasant tone encourages the other party to respond in kind.

I was employed with the sheriff's department during which time I created script and recorded messages for their automated voice response unit. When I transferred to the child support agency, I again assisted in their implementation of an automated voice response unit and recorded messages in English and Spanish. I also translated their English script into Spanish and made updates as needed.
While my experience has been limited to voice messages for a public agency, I have found that any message to be successfully delivered to the public must be sincere in tone, easy to understand and friendly in nature. All of which are qualities I have strived to achieve over my many years in public service.
