It's hard not to be a lover of language when you've had the privilege of encountering it in multiple countries, in different languages and accents, from a young age.

Even before moving to Canada, I spent several years cultivating a smooth, warm, rich voice, with a British-accented delivery to draw people in to make an intimate connection to the words I speak. A career in journalism further honed my ability to make the English language sing, and I have also taken care to keep up my fluency in Portuguese.

My delivery can range from authoritative professorial types, brimming with knowledge that demands attention, to a more pitter-patter wit that can be tinged with sympathy or sarcasm, depending on the audience.
