Professional voice talent specializing in commercial, theatrical, educational, and documentary narration, and also automated voice messaging, Dr. Lumas is a classically trained vocalist and highly versatile performing artist. Dr. Kay Lumas has been performing for audiences since the 1960s performing solo in recitals and in chamber in the Southern California area. She made her film and television debut in the 1990s. Dr. Kay Lumas received her performing arts training at the University of Southern California School of Performing Arts, University of California, Los Angeles, Tepper Gallegos, and at AIA Actor’s Studio. Dr. Lumas has reconciled her vocal and acting skills with voice over skills for over five decades into a very successful career as a professional female voice talent. In addition to her training in the performing arts, Dr. Lumas worked in allied health in both radiology and audiology, and presently works as an adjunct professor teaching psychology and clinical counseling courses. She holds four graduate degrees in education, human resources, and in human services and professional counseling.
