For as long as I can remember I have been performing; if not for an audience, for myself and my family. I love to entertain and put on a show. From the tender years of elementary school, I began honing my acting ability. I went on to the middle school for the performing arts and even though my parents wouldn't let me attend the performing arts high school downtown, I found a way to ensure I would still get to show off. My high school theater teacher opened new classes for advanced students because we had so much talent in our department during those years. After high school I attended the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University for a year and later on attended Texas Woman's University majoring in Theater, including acting/costume design. I've changed the course of my career many times during my life, and I always seems to drift back to acting. It is a part of me and I know I can't go on without it. As a character actor, I've learned the art of mimicking the sounds and voices of those I am portraying. As with any skill, there is always room for improvement and I am open to direction and guidance as I continue my journey in entertaining others. I'm from Texas so I can pull out the southern charm, Texan y'all and all the fixin'-tos you'd like to hear. However, as a trained actor, I can control my voice and enunciate clearly and you would never know my origin. From Pygmalion's cockney to the Irish brogue to the Puerto Rican chica, the versatility and nuances in my vocal ability are clear. I also speak Spanish as well and am about 60%-70% fluent. I am currently employed as a recruiter for a major staffing firm in Atlanta, GA. I get to talk to people all day, but it isn't quite enough. What I see is that I need to be entertaining others. It is my passion, it is my heart. I'm looking to get back into using my talent to give others joy and perhaps earn some money while doing it. Below is a listing of the shows in which I have performed. Most of the roles were leads and where I found my true voice, my true ability to help audiences live in another world.
