I have a deep and resonant masculine voice. I am articulate and precise. I and have worked as a full time radio announcer for years, tagging songs, telling stories with local color, giving weather and sports reports, and creating client specific advertising. I am also an accomplished musician, composer and sound designer, and operate a fully functional Pro Tools recording studio. I love sound, and have tons of examples of my voice in action. I tend toward warmth and sincerity, but can provide flourishes of irony and twists of quick wit pretty easily. I can do characters, but my real strength is as a straight-forward voice of assurance.

I am currently an announcer on radio station WSBS, in Great Barrington, MA, a member of the Gamma Communications group. I am on-air every Sunday afternoon from 3 to 7 PM. I tag songs, provide community announcements, have recorded the daily weather (and updated the weather phone!), and record client specific advertising as well.
Before that I hosted a weekly radio program called "The Scratchy Records Show," which ran for 7 years on WBCR-LP, also in Great Barrington, MA, which was a labor of love for which I was not paid, but which let ultimately to my commercial radio gig.
I am a musician, composer, and accomplished sound designer as well. I have worked as an audio professional in one form or another for over twenty years, and have my own recording studio, with a wide variety of professional instruments and microphones (I prefer my Shure SM7B for voice work) and run Pro Tools as my recording platform.
