Gary Sturgis is a top voice-over artist who was featured on the cover of the Hollywood Reporter for his talent. His resume includes Cartoons, Movie Trailers, Video Games and Television Network Promos, as well as commercials for radio and television. He is a quick read, and takes direction well.
In the beginning of Gary’s voice-over career, his raspy baritone voice was heard nation-wide promoting for the now defunct UPN with a line-up that included: Moesha, & Girlfriends to name a few. Recently he's voiced promos for Hawaii 5-0 at CBS. His voice was also used to promote hit feature films like The Others, Torque, Bones, The Brothers, The Wood, Blue Streak and the Brittany Spears movie, Crossroads. Gary also did promos for Spike TV, ESPN and the 2007 NBA Basketball Season for TNT Networks.
He is the voice of many TV and radio commercials as well. Taking his talent to a broader audience, he even began voicing animated features and shows including the Phantom Virus in the feature film, Scooby Doo and the Cyberchase, the Bronze Tiger in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, the shadow villain, EBON on the Kids WB cartoon Static Shock and the Lead Eliminator in The Fairly OddParents Trilogy, Wishology. As if that's not enough, Gary also voices video game characters in such hits as True Crime New York City, Spider Man II and the trivia game, Shout About Music.
