James has worked in local radio since 1985, starting out as a \"disc jockey\" when the discs were vinyl and the only radio was \"local radio.\" Although he now earns his bread and butter as an accountant, his heart has always been in announcing and creating material that tells a story and sells a product. He also uses his rich, baritone voice every Sunday as pastor of a small, country church in his hometown where he lives with his wife, Lisa, and their two sons, Caleb and Ethan, whom he has suckered into working with him on various projects through the years. While his speaking voice is rich, his singing voice is even better. Jingles are not out of the realm of possibility for this multi-talented artist.

James cut his teeth behind the board of a small country music radio station in Southeast, Georgia, WCLA. He also served as emcee for local beauty pageants, Veterans Day observances, and other local civic events. Spending 3 to 4 hours a week behind a church pulpit for the last 12 years and teaching accounting seminars has also given James the opportunity to hone his speaking and communication skills.

James takes his voice-over work seriously and will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. As a full-time minister and CPA, lead times may be a little longer on some projects, but it will be well worth the wait.
James is our "go-to" guy whenever we need a quick turnaround on a spot, but he doesn't exchange quality for quick delivery. He always gives us a professional read and quality recordings.Radio Evans (WCLA)
