A big guy with a big voice, John's deep, rich baritone is complimented with a subtle Midwestern sound and is ideally suited for commercials, narrations, instructional videos/recordings, trailers, audiobooks, software application demonstrations, and announcing. The tenor of his voice lends itself very well to voicing roles calling for authority, strong presence, confidence, seriousness, drama, and impacting just to name a few - he can do a very good, very commanding "dad voice", too.
Since John also works in the internet software industry, he has voiced several interactive software demos and software and sales training videos. His cartoon voices include that of Patrick Warburton's Kronk (from "Emperor's New Groove"), and Officer Joe Swanson ("Family Guy"). Other animated voices include Chumley ("Tennessee Tuxedo"), Bullwinkle Moose, and Optimus Prime.
