A big guy with a big voice, John's deep, rich baritone is complimented with a subtle Midwestern sound and is ideally suited for commercials, narrations, instructional videos/recordings, trailers, audiobooks, software application demonstrations, and announcing. The tenor of his voice lends itself very well to voicing roles calling for authority, strong presence, confidence, seriousness, drama, and impacting just to name a few - he can do a very good, very commanding "dad voice", too.
Since John also works in the internet software industry, he has voiced several interactive software demos and software and sales training videos. His cartoon voices include that of Patrick Warburton's Kronk (from "Emperor's New Groove"), and Officer Joe Swanson ("Family Guy"). Other animated voices include Chumley ("Tennessee Tuxedo"), Bullwinkle Moose, and Optimus Prime.

John narrated the video we created which demonstrates the features and functionality of our new software release. In addition to providing the narration, John contributed to writing the script as well as editing and producing the final product. He was very professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Love the work he did for us! - Mauli FryThought Convergence
We created a training video for our sales force demonstrating the features and functionality of our newest service module and had John narrate it. His voice is very clear and distinctive and is very easy to hear and understand. John was incredibly easy to work with and made the entire experience fun and easy. His wealth of experience was evident throughout the entire recording and production process. We will definitely use him again on future projects! - Vince King, Sr Dir. of Product ManagementCars.com
John provided over an hour of narration for a series of training videos we created demonstrating our software and services. He had a great mobile recording setup which captured his smooth speaking voice; we only had to provide a place for him to work. I was very pleasantly surprised to learn John is an excellent copywriter and copy editor, too. He was great to work with and his outgoing personality makes him fun and entertaining to work with, too. -Dave StengerdotStaff
We needed people to help voice unique secondary characters like monsters and zombies for a couple of our video games we were developing. A mutual friend recommended John since he lived here in Seattle and spoke highly of him. John has a fairly deep and commanding voice which perfectly fit a couple of the big and daunting roles we had him voice. Working with John was great because he made an effort to understand what we were wanting and played a big part in developing the character before even voicing it. - Mark BankertNintendo
