James Ralph Toppins

My name is James Ralph Toppins, I am 62 years old, I was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. I have spent my life playing with audio recording. As a teen we would play with an open reel recorder trying to be Fire Sign Theater, a comedy group that released several comedy album in the 70's. I then started doing sound over sound recording, when I got two tape decks that allowed for overdubbing, the line and live mics could be recorded simultaneously the trick was to try and maintain the mix several overdubs in, we spent hours playing. I then got into video developing a skit comedy show in Jacksonville FL (Phone hidden)) "Ralph Around Town". I learned editing on old 3/4" tape machines now I do it all on computer. I have spent 5 years as a semi-pro actor mainly with Fantasyland Theatrical Productions in Newberry FL ,just outside of Gainesville FL. I now have a home recording studio which will allow me to turn your project around in a timely manor. My background is in law enforcement/training, its how I made a living for the big portion of my life. I have several top 10 finishes on (Website hidden) with some songs I wrote and recorded, I also won a first place prize with a short video production about bull riding.
