Brooklyn, New York, US
I'm a mid-'30s female with a voice that is lower-toned on the speaking side - can be husky or light/high and clear depending on what is needed! I am from the East Coast and NM, so do not really have my own detectable accent. As a classical and pop singer, I'm a soprano; I also sing country, jazz, and blues/rock and roll. I pick up accents easily, and can be a good mimic. My family comes from the Southern US, so I have experience around those accents, and can do most other US regional ones. I was raised watching a lot of BBC, so can mirror different UK and European accents.

I am a mid-'30s female singer (pop and rock, mostly), with some minimal stage acting experience, based in NYC. I can do a number of language accents, as well as US regional accents, specializing in Southern accents (my family is from the South). In terms of singing, I have done a few for-hire singing projects for jingle submissions, but my primary work is my own singing and songwriting with a producer. I can send our studio recordings and submit samples of my spoken audio work. I would be most interested in jingles or themes, audiobook reading, and character work, but am open to any variety of voice-over work.
-Singer for rock and roll and pop groups and solo since age 15, classical performances since age 11, with 3 years classical training.
-ASCAP member (writer and publisher).
-Regularly record studio musical work including writing and co-producer credit, and have studio engineer and co-producer credit on several projects.
-Voice work on jingle and theme song submissions.
-Some minor stage work, primarily in Gilbert & Sullivan musicals.
-Additional instruments, both in studio and live, are keyboards, guitar, and bass.
-Administrative Assistant - proofreading, editing, and writing presentations and reports are a significant part of my daily job. My focus is on correct and well-expressed written and spoken English, with accurate grammar, punctuation, and pronunciation.
-I am also a captioner as additional work, so am particularly in tune with understanding and analyzing spoken English (usually accented English), listening to and simultaneously converting spoken language to written, and interpreting and understanding varying aesthetics of speech breaks and word choices, as well as different methods and approaches to speaking English.
-I read a lot, and have always been fascinated with linguistics, language origins, the English vocabulary, etc.
-For these reasons, I think I would have a knack for bringing the written word to life in the vocal booth!

Depends on project - unlimited access to a recording studio, so can be quick.
I maintain upbeat, professional interactions, work quickly and creatively, and am motivated to learn at least one new tool or talent from each project I'm involved with! I've learned from my prior and ongoing studio experiences that it's just a matter of pushing past the point of thinking this idea or project may not be 'right' for my voice. There is almost always a way to unite the goals of the project coordinator with my abilities, and often the result may even be much better than either or both parties could have expected. I have unlimited access to a recording studio, and so am always open to trying out new ideas, even if it may initially seem like an unexpected fit. Using one's voice professionally is an exercise in flexibility, encouraging you to actually take the path to forming your voice into the character's, reader's, broadcaster's, singer's, or other role of the moment. In addition to my musical studio and live pursuits, I love to read, and also listen to audiobooks and podcasts all the time. I would love to gain experience in that world, bringing the written word to life. As a New Yorker, I'm used to making things work with daily challenges jumping in the way. I look forward to seeing what we can create together. Thanks! Juliet
I've worked with Juliet since 2014, primarily in my recording studio. Whatever the project is, Juliet is usually the first person I involve because she is always a positive motivator in getting the project done well and quickly, sometimes on a tiny budget! She's flexible with meeting deadlines, often willing to work past hours to make sure the finished product sounds right. We have also had her assist-engineer on many sessions, setting up equipment beforehand and taking down afterward, and running the board as needed. She has several years of experience in the studio, behind the microphone, and on stage as a performer, and is great at self-critique and correction, sometimes getting from A to B within a session with few notes needed from me. I would recommend her for any project you have in mind!Grand Studios Brooklyn, Phenomenal Handclap Band
