I began my audio and voice career in 1988 by studying Sound Engineering at the Australian Audio College of technology. After the completion of my studies I was able to work live and in the studio environment. My first encounter with a professional producer was in 1990 where I was assistant engineer in an Australian recording studio. The producers name was Tom Lubens, who had recorded and produced artists including, Dr Hook and Jim Hendrix and my luck was about to change as I was offered to further my audio study at the ABC TV college with Tom as the lecturer on audio effects, sound envelopes and acoustics. Time past and I adventured into a career of recording music and sound. During this period I was asked to use my own voice on recordings. In 1999 I furthered my voice abilities by studying under Elly B at her voice coaching studio. Elly B has trained in the Bel Canto Technique, ANZCA (Australian & New Zealand Cultural Arts), and method acting. Through her experience she was able coach me to use the voice effectively, safely and to bring out the natural abilities of my voice. With her professionalism and assistance I now have the voice I have today.
