Ruth Solorzano

Overview

Ruth is a half Dominican and half Guatemalan, bilingual actress born in Brooklyn, raised in Northern California and currently residing in NYC. Brought up by a single mother and the oldest of three, Ruth flexed her artistic muscles singing talent shows at a young age, but didn’t find her love for acting till she went to community college. From there she went on to get her BA in Theatre arts from California State University, Chico and has gone on to train with James Calleri (CD, DICKINSON) and Scott David (CD, CRIMINAL MINDS). She had a recent Co-Star on THE BLACKLIST alongside James Spader and jumped off a 30ft cliff in Costa Rica for the web-series, THE FIRSTS, produced by Bustle and Abercrombie & Fitch. Currently she is writing and producing her own upcoming web-series, REGULARS. Ruth is fluent in Spanish, an avid cyclist, she loves walking her dog Nova, cooking vegetarian cuisine, and enjoying bright sunny days in Sunset Park.
