Steve Walker’s professional career began in 1970, when he became the booth announcer for WBGU-TV, one of Ohio’s premiere PBS stations. He attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio majoring in Communications & Theatre and later graduating with Masters in Radio/TV/Film. Walker’s television news broadcast career spanned 16 years among six stations, as anchor, reporter and documentary producer/talent. In 1987, Walker joined Westcott Communications in Carrollton, Texas which would soon be one of the nation’s largest satellite delivered training companies for Industrial, Health, Automotive, Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue, and Security. In addition to providing on-air talent and voiceovers for these networks, Walker also voiced projects for special production clients that included EDS, GM and Reynolds & Reynolds. In 2008 Walker started his own business and has been doing voiceovers around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Thanks to the evolution of the home audio studio technology YES!! "Steve is not only a voice-over talent but an excellent producer as well. He had seen through a number of difficult, challenging projects for us, and we use his voice-overs in all of those and more. When he’s cutting voice-overs, he doesn’t need re-takes. He is a consummate professional, very engaging and hard-working.”VHA, Inc.
