Alyssa Al-Dookhi is an Arab American writer and comedian living in Philadelphia. Her cosmopolitan upbringing led her to collect accents all her life. As a child, she trained at the Kuwait Youth Theater to complete exams for the London Acamy of Music And Dramatic Art. Her Shakespearean background and elocution lessons with the company honed these skills.
Alyssa is now a full-time stand up comedian who uses her many accents to captivate her audiences. She is also a recurring co-host on the popular food-themed game show and rap battle Eat Your Beats! Alyssa currently answers phones for a living and is often confused for an automated service. This results in hilarity and frustration... If she decides to keep up the act. Her dream is to be the voice of the subway.
