My wide variety of professional experience both in television and radio broadcasting, as well as covering the United Nations for World News Tonight with Peter Jennings has prepared me to adapt and to make things work, particularly when it involves broadcast communication. I enjoy a challenge and have International and national experience outside of broadcasting that also informs my broadcasting career.Tomosbornemedia.com
I spent a decade assigned by ABC World News with Peter Jennings to the UN during the decade of the 90's. During this period I was in charge of producing network specials during the beginning and the height of the first Gulf War, Desert Storm working with Peter Jennings, Barbara Walters, John McWethy and the various international ABC News bureau chiefs. I have done documentary work, which took me through Iraq specifically and the Middle East crises; involved interviews at the highest level of government, both U.S. and Iraq as I told the story of Weapons of Mass Destruction in that region of the world. I was also responsible for reporting for ABC News radio network at the top of the hour, sometimes daily, so I am used to meeting deadlines in short notice.tomosbornemedia.com
