William Lehong, better known as the "Black Chinese Guy", has ten years’ experience in the entertainment industry working as a radio host and television presenter. In 2006 he found his voice when he enrolled for a radio course at a radio and TV institution, On Cue Communications.
Three years earlier he had studied power engineering at the Vaal University of Technology just for kicks and, needless to say, he has never put this degree to practice. His first radio stint, immediately after completing the course, was with BBC SA's community radio, Radio Today, where he was employed as a sport presenter and voice-over artist.

In 2007 the Black Chinese Guy moved to Primedia's Radio 702 to become the reputable station’s talk show host on the graveyard shift, weekly. But it was not until he joined the station's news department working as a reporter that his promising talent began to shine. Lehong subsequently joined the youth radio station YFM. This is where his voice became an authority in the news and sports presentation.
Two years later Lehong bagged another promising radio gig as a drive time and weekend show host for Vodacom's retail radio station, Yebo Radio. But his big break came in 2011 where he his voice was finally heard on Metro FM where he had the privilege to host his Pyjama Party weekend show on one the biggest commercial stations in South Africa.
To say William Lehong is an out-and-out versatile television and radio presenter is an understatement – his experience goes far beyond the air waves and the small box. The "Black Chinese Guy" as he’s better known, is also a seasoned voice over artist.
