The Future of Voices as a Creative Services Marketplace

We started 2021 by sharing some of the biggest news in the history of Voices: our plans to expand into new creative services like audio production, music, and translation as a creative services marketplace. This expansion will help our clients find the talent they need to bring their creative projects to the finish line, while creating even more opportunities for our talent to make a living doing what they love.

At the same time, we shared with everyone the next evolution of our brand, both visual and audio (with our new sonic logo):

We went from Voices.com to Voices, a place where our clients can find, and our talent can share, their creative voice.

Finally, we outlined how we hope to bring our plans to fruition. For the first time in our history, we shared our roadmap for the year:

Show Off Your Skills with New Talent Profiles

The first step on our journey toward becoming a creative services marketplace began not just with our announcement, but with the release of new, more powerful talent profiles. With them, talent can add new services and skills to their profile, as well as upload portfolio samples, to show clients what they can offer in the world of audio production, music, and translation.

How To Maximize Your Talent Profile and Portfolio Samples

The updates to talent profiles weren’t over yet (spoiler: they still aren’t). In March we introduced a profile overview page that summarizes the most important aspects of your profile, all into one tidy page. This update, and the one in January, form the foundation of the next iteration of talent profiles, but more on that in just a moment.

Access Voices at Lightning Speed with Social Login and Sign Up

It’s 2021. We know that like us, you’re probably juggling way too many usernames and passwords to keep track of. That’s why we were so happy to introduce social login and sign up, a quick and easy way to create or connect your account using Google. Not only does this mean you’ll have one less password to remember, but you’ll be able to log in with one simple click. Talk about efficiency!

What’s coming up in April, May, and June?

We aren’t slowing down. As our roadmap shows, we’ve got lots planned for the next three months (and beyond). Some things we’ve already shared, others are on the way, so for a quick preview, check out what’s on tap:

As you can see, there’s a lot to be excited about over the next couple of months.
