Ampelmann green walking manYou might have noticed a new column called “Your Status” that has been recently added to how you can view jobs on the Voices.com jobs board.

This posting will help you to understand why this column has been added as well as go over the meanings of all the statuses that a job posting passes through in the hiring process through payment and completion.

Jobs

As you know, Voices.com has a job board where you can view job opportunities that match your profile as well as audition for those public job opportunities if you are a subscribing member. You will also be able to see any private jobs that you have been invited to.
What’s changed?
In addition to showing you the jobs that match your profile, the job board now shows you the status of all jobs that match your profile letting you know if the client has moved ahead and hired someone to record the voiceover.
That being said, you will see two columns pertaining to the job. The first column “Your Status,” tells you how your audition relates to the posting and the second column called “Job Status,” tells you how the job has progressed in terms of casting.
Below you’ll find a more detailed explanation of what the statuses mean as they relate to you (Your Status) and also to the job in general (Job Status).

“Your Status” Explained

OPEN: A job that you have not auditioned for.
ANSWERED: A job you’ve submitted an audition for.
FINALIZING: A job that you’ve been awarded and have received payment for.
WORKING: A job that is in progress. You’ve agreed to work for the amount you quoted and now have the ability to upload files.
COMPLETED: A job where payment has been released by the client.
DELETED: A job that you have deleted.
