Hospitals: Rush University Medical Center is an academic medical center in Chicago and the hub of our patient care. The Medical Center is closely connected with Rush University. In fact, all the university’s programs are taught by physicians, nurses and other staff from the Medical Center.

Rush Oak Park Hospital is our community hospital, just seven miles west of our Chicago campus in Oak Park, Ill. Rush Oak Park Hospital offers numerous specialties of care, some of which are provided by specialists from Rush University Medical Center.

Education: Rush University — a university focusing exclusively on the health sciences — shares the Medical Center’s campus. The university is home to one of the first medical colleges in the Midwest and one of the nation’s top-ranked nursing colleges.
