NOLS, the National Outdoor Leadership School, takes college age students on wilderness expeditions ranging from 1-3 months. Not a therapy program for juvenile delinquents or drug addicts, our courses teach highly motivated students wilderness ethics, technical skills, and leadership in challenging and remote backcountry settings.
