About Us
We build homes with straw, mud and recycled materials. These are called Cob Homes. Cob is a very old method of building where clay and sand are mixed with straw to form walls. Very durable, these buildings can last for hundreds or in some cases a thousand years.
Phil Hawns is a SENS Independent Major in Sustainable Community Development at Berea College and is a natural materials building expert.
