They walked down the hill away from scared eyes and curious stares. And then, halfway down the street, Justus, they were about to turn onto a side road. Billy noticed a hummingbird following them. I must be seeing things. Billy looked up, but I could swear that Bird has followed us all the way down the hill. They like me watch, he said, and stuck his arm up into the air. Then he opened up his palm flat. The humming bird landed. That's not possible. Billy, watch the hummingbird gross, still in his hand.
