Bris is a two D platformer that follows the emotional journey of a young girl suffering from sorrow and loss. Thes themes aren't always obvious. Is the Storey is told in quite an abstract way. There's no dialogue, so you have to take everything from environmental cues. There isn't anything wrong with this, however, as it allows you to build your own interpretations. Throughout the game. You travel through ethereal landscapes, solving puzzles and gaining abilities to help you on your way. When you start, everything is dull and grey. As you progress. You gradually fill the world with colour and open new areas by collecting little stars to form constellations. Gris is more about the journey than it is the destination. There really isn't much to say about the game play. Other than that, it's simple and fluid. There's no combat, no death, and the only enemies are what could be considered bosses. Even then, they don't injure you but merely hinder your progress and servers. Another obstacle to go around. It's a very relaxed experience. The puzzles aren't too mentally taxing, but you have an option to do slightly more difficult ones to collect extra stars. If you wish. Visually, grace can't be flawed. Each area is stunning energy progress. The watercolour world you're experiencing gets more and more colourful. Every screenshot of this game could be a painting you'd hang up in your home. Music and ambient sound is used well to create a peaceful in a motive atmosphere at various points in the game. It's used to help you through areas but indicating when it's safe to progress. Chris is a one of a kind experience, subtle and a motive. Storytelling, accompanied by gorgeous graphics and wonderful sound design, make the game a delight to play. It only takes three hours to complete, but those are three hours very well spent.
