Description

Poem reading in a deep, raspy, UK accent (basic)

Script / Peom:

In that room—hung in silence and shame, long gone, and bare;
Tethered to the attic's fan, and beneath—a fallen chair.

Sorrow's silhouette found creeping, reaching and greeting—in stale air;
Across the floor—his shadow explores each strand of carpet there.

Too many are lost so young—to a world so very cold;
Fleeing to warm, mythic-fields of grain-and-wheat, o’ glistening sun-lit gold.

And to the world—don’t dare mourn, for you’re the ones' to blame;
Better fitting, for those who ignored—to bow their heads' in shame.

Now in the ground, roots gather ‘round—as meat-meets mold;
Silence n' peace with the dirt-n’ maggots—for they shall not grow old.
