In 2012, GreenstoneTV contracted the multi-talented Alex Hogg as director, writer and voice–over artist on our 10 part, primetime observational documentary series Showtime. The show captured the ups and downs of two NZ amateur theatre companies; one big city, one small town. From the agony of auditions through to opening night nerves the series shared the melodrama and mishaps, triumphs and tantrums of these everyday kiwis and their love of the ‘magic’ of theatre.

Tone was pivotal to the show’s success and Alex was able to bring a wonderful mix of playfulness, warmth and respect to her voice-over, both through her succinct and witty scripting and her delivery in the sound booth.
