all right, You know what? ISS weapons into final space with your host for just a moment. Gabe Jones purse apologized for both of my voice because I'm sick. And then my new studio, which currently is in progress of sounding good. So I got some really bad echoes in this, so it sounds like a cave. But let's just get started. Were on interview pause for just a moment because we're bringing back some awesome folks to wrap up the season people that you've seen before, as well as one very new exciting interview that I'm a superstar to share with you somebody completing. So that's really exciting. Always make sure you're checking. Get into finals Baseness. Twitter. To go down as well is always being on the discord always on there. But today I'm here with the rings to a guest toast because today, to celebrate mine 3000 listeners Thank you so much. I am getting interview. So let's do it. If interactions I'm jamon. I like to write and draw on today I'm lucky enough to guest host the podcast for one of my biggest inspirations. Thanks for having me on Gaby. Ready? Answer some questions Let's do it. Alright. Awesome. Think. Thank you again for joining me today. Absolutely. Thank you for hosting. It's a pleasure. So, um first off, tell us a little bit about yourself. All right? For So as many of you know, I'm keep Jones. I healthy into final space podcast. Um, see what I'll study. I'm officer, author, screenwriter, a musician, vocalist. Ah, as well as the okay artist. Um, and I do photography, so Yeah, that's Ah, I do a little run a little bit about everything. So jackal traits? That's awesome. And how did you discover final space? Um, so I've been a huge Olin Rogers fan for years. Um, and I thought a little bit about this when I started the podcast, but ah, friend that introduced me to his comedy and I was hooked. And then I, uh, spotted the pilot after it came out. I was like, Tank would be awesome of this was a show. And then they're like, Oh, it's a show that I was like, OK, cool. Uh, so, yeah, I just following Olin. This has kind of led me to this awesome discovery of final space. Very cool. And so what inspired you to actually start this podcast. And how was it reaching out to a member of the final space crew for like to come on the show for the first time? Yeah. Um uh, once by restart podcast, Um, the mike that I actually used to record I picked up to start singing just because I said, Why not? There's a cheap deal on it. And I was like, OK, I'll go grab it, Uh, when I got home and tried some and audio editing is just not my forte. So I gave up on that, and at the time, I just got through. Ah, the Steven Universe podcast by NK Atwood. And she did a phenomenal job of that. I was like, What if I did a TV podcasts and I was like, What shows do I really like? And I came on final space and I was like, I don't think one of these exist. So I looked overly animated, did like episode on final space, and I was like, There's not like a solely dedicated final space podcast. So I was like, Cool. That's my That's what I'll do. You, um, see, I picked it up started. Uh, get a cool logo going. Um, and then you kind of ended up here. Uh, sorry. I thought you were done. Go ahead. Yeah. Just say that's, like, awesome. 11 door, one door closes, right? Yeah. School. We have a podcast for the show. It's community. Thank you. And, uh, as we're reaching out to remember, it was extremely scary. Ah, I remember. I was just like, you know, I'm tired of hearing myself speaks unless you've been get some some cast or crew on here. And I was like, Olin's kind of a long shot. I'm a nobody, but let's see. See if somebody will be on here. So I just kind of Winnall instagram searched the finals based hash tag and started following all these artists and eventually came upon Kyuma, who was one of my ritual, um, interviews and message. Sure, I was like, Hey, I'm doing a podcast with Show a big fan of your art. Um, would you let come on the show? And she's absolutely. And I've got a few other artists who would love to join you. So that kind of put together that that first gang for the first interview and ah, I remember just shaking before interviews like these, the people who make the show that I love so much and they're all incredible to buy. Straw says the producer walked in before the episode certain I was like, Oh, no, Uh uh, He was like all of us on India's Don't say anything. I was like, Oh, no, I hope I'm not picking any rules or anything. Um, the other great Ah, me and device that got to be good friends and talk some. I always cleared my interviews with him and I actually interviewed him. So, uh, has been great, you know, trying toe, get more cast and crew of the show and talk to them. And you give viewers in another chance to connect with these people that make this incredible show. That's awesome. Maybe even, you know, even when you know the crew was great people, that's probably still very scary toe do that for the first time that he absolutely So this one I gotta ask of Season one or Season two. That's a hard one. Um, I gotta say season Teoh. I have to agree with the the crew on this one because, you know, I really feel like it's kind of grown into itself. It's starting to really find its voice when it whether it's the the actors, are the career, really just putting it there and finding where they're gonna do colors, how they're gonna, ah, animate the scene. Jam Field has taking us the season and really ran with it. And so, yes, Season two's definitely a big one. Of course, Season one will always be at the heart, but yeah, Season two, I think the final spaces finally finding who it is. Oh, yeah, I can see that. Totally. You can't really go wrong with either. But, you know, I think I probably there too. So, um, going off of that What's your favorite episode? Uh, let's get hard. Um, I can't say Ah, the other side from the season was exceptional. Um, the way it was shot the whole story with, um, little kado and who has been exceptional season. So yeah, other side definitely is probably way up there on my list. Um, the l of these recent episodes have been really great, and I'm really excited for the season to wrap in these next three episodes. Yeah, so you would on both have the same favorite. That's prequel. Yeah, he picked a good one. Yeah. So, definitely, it's a good character this season. And this is OK. Last of the favorite questions. Now, who's your favorite character? Uh, what's again? I got to go a little kata. Um, he's just been through so much. Um, he's always got this kind of resilience to them. Um, and I'm a big fan of Steven Yeun. Anyway, um, he's an incredible actor. Watch walking dead a while back. Um, so, yeah, uh, little cot was definitely my favorite. Yeah, for sure. I can't really say any answer. That wouldn't be valid. Literature, I guess. Our final question now. So after meeting and talking with so many fans and even on himself and other members of the final space crew, is there any piece of advice you'd like to give the audience about pursuing their passion? Yeah, absolutely. I would never have been here if I didn't step out on a limb and try something new. Um, And then, of course, never being afraid of hearing the word no or never getting a response back because that does was kind of what kept me from getting to my goal of trying it. I was like, Should I messages this person? This likely they're never going to message me back. Just a guy who really likes to show who wants to bring something else. Teoh the community. Um, so, yeah, just really never being afraid of the responses. New, Um, because I worked and I worked and got to where I was because I was okay with not getting a response back from somebody. Um, so you just definitely pursue your passions, Even if there's an obstacle in the way. Just go after whatever you love ethic that said advice worthy of old himself right there. It's pretty cute. Yeah, you're welcome. Is pretty amazing what you built here. Thank you. You're welcome. It's so awesome. Yeah, well, thank you so much for joining me today and answering these questions. It was great getting to learn more about you and your experiences as a fan of final space. And I hope this wonderful community only grows is we get hopefully even more seasons. Yeah, Thank you so much for ah, for being my guest host today. Yeah, my pleasure. Well, It was strange being on the side of Mike, but thank you all for 3000 listeners and for giving me this incredible chance to talk about this show that we all love and bring you connections to these people who make the show that we all love. Um, I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit about me. Thanks to Jamon for his great interview skills. I've got another great host on, but I don't know if I ever anyone, um, as always follow me at into finals based on the stream and Twitter. I'm once again apologize for my voice and the horrible acoustics have here. Um, I'll see you next time on into final space and thank you guys so much.
