When asked as a child 'what is your dream job', I always said I wanted to be a radio presenter, probably influenced by my Dad's history in the music industry. I was picked from my class to present on a local radio station, I won awards on speaking poetry and have always had a creative flair and 'eye'.
Fast forward to now, I currently work within the Technology industry within User Experience. I may not be a radio presenter but I do present and engage with large audiences frequently. I have to break down complex problems daily and I use my creativity to my advantage. When designing user experiences, I walk through the different persona stories and record voiceovers for videos within the company to share these user stories. Each time, I have gained compliments on my voice. I have a neutral accent, well pronouced and described as calming. I am empathetic, very upbeat and passionate person and that energy translates in my voice.
