But there was no room for both of them to squeeze past the back of plates that were piled up high With one almighty crash. The rack tipped over and the plates shattered on the stone floor. One of the two legs stretched out his hand to balance himself and accidentally pulled over a vat of chicken soup that was being prepared for. The next day, the soup poured down on top of him. He fell to the floor, right in the path of the second clown, whose mask had slipped over her eyes in the panic to get out of the kitchen, she tripped over her partner, bathed in soup and slammed into a trolley full of knives and forks. The trolley spent across the kitchen and smashed into a wall with a deafening crash. It bounced back towards the soup covered clowns and showered them with knives and forks. They looked a bit like a circus act that had gone horribly wrong, with cutlery sticking out of the wall behind them.
