My natural speaking voice is a general Mid-Atlantic accent. Usually when I'm alone (in my car, walking my dog, etc.) I speak in various accents, particularly British Isles based accents, though I am comfortable in a variety of others and have worked hard to differentiate certain accents from their neighbors (Irish vs Scottish, for example) I feel like my best work would come out if I were to be presented with a character, and some lines, adjusting the voice until it fits
