About

My voice is low, but not a bass. I've been described as a lower baritone but not professionally assessed as such. My range is good and I often play with accents, especially when reading aloud to children, my own or others. I've done the IT Help Desk menu for my current employer before transferring to a more active technical role in the field. As a result I'd received many compliments from Help Desk callers, which I've accepted humbly, with many surprised that they get to talk to "The Voice". I spent several years studying Spanis when I was younger, and have dabbled in Latin afterward. My vocabulary is extremely broad due to being an avid reader and having a very broad range of interests, especially technical or scientific, so technical, engineering, or medical jargon comes easily.

Having experience in business and telephone has been handy, but conversely I'm also proficient in "cartoonish" and silly voices or characters as I play many roles while enjoying time with my children. I can something relatively similar to "Boris" from Bullwinkle all the way up to very small voices one might associate with a small animal or similar. Making my children laugh with ridiculous voices and accents is a lot of fun. I enjoy working with any age range and ethnicity and listening to others helps me to pick up new sounds or voices to try.

With only one project for current employer behind me I am still new to this type of work, however, every project I commit to is important to me, customer service is my primary focus. I was raised with a strong work ethic thanks to my family's roots and I take great pride in ensuring I've earned my pay in ensuring my customer and employer feel they've gotten their money's worth, and more if I can.
