Emily Shankman

Emily Maverick Shankman is an actor, voiceover artist, and writer in Portland, OR. She's been studying improv theater and comedy since 2016 and is a main stage performer at Kickstand Comedy Space. She has a background in music and foreign languages, and has studied acting with Brooke Totman (Groundlings, MadTV), Kristina Haddad (Don't Mess with the Zohan, Olive Unleashed), Ted Rooney (Gilmore Girls, ER). Emily trained with Lesley Bailey, award-winning voiceover coach and casting director. Emily is flexible and intuitive, able to adapt her voice in order to meet the needs of her clients. Her voice has been described as warm, clear, emotive, and inviting.
