Voice acting is a thing I've always been interested in, but never thought I'd be any good at. Recently, I jumped into it without really thinking and just started recording character voices from my favorite webcomic. After listening to them, I realized that I'm actually pretty good. My voice is definitely more suited for female characters, but I'm also not bad at younger guys or guys with a higher voice. I tend to do a sort of gruff scratchy voice that's mixed in with a cute one. I suppose that would be considered my default voice, but I can mix it up with others. I'm constantly working at trying to stretch my range and accents.
My biggest positive, I believe, is that I'm able to read through dialogue for the first time out loud and portray a fairly believable character. Even if it takes me a bit to get the character's voice down, the acting seems to come very easily to me.
