In a cottage in the woods, lived a young woman named Cinderella, while she was kind to everyone, her stepmother and two stepsisters showed her no kindness in return. They forced her to do all the work in the house and did not help even a bit leaving Cinderella sad and very tired. One day a messenger arrived with an invitation. It was for a great ball at a Prince's castle, and everyone was invited. Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters rushed around trying to find the right clothes to wear as Cinderella, tried to hurry and finish her chores. At last they would all dressed up to attend the ball except Cinderella, who still had on her raggedy dress. She was made to clean in. She wanted to join the others at the ball. But her stepmother and stepsisters laugh saying her dress was too ugly to wear to a fancy ball. They left her there all alone and crying
