British born, I started my career as a fashion designer in 1980 at the age of 26. I fell in love with designing and creating garments using knitting machines and I was featured in numerous editions of Vogue magazine along with ELLE, Marie Claire, The Clothes Show magazine, Sky and many more. My clothes were also extremely popular with pop stars, such as Bananarama, and models like Jerry Hall, Marie Helvin and Tatiana.
15 years ago I relocated to Italy and became professional tour guide in Rome, my British accent going down well with the many American clients I introduced to Italian art and culture. An actor on one of my tours was so impressed with my voice that he put me in touch with Studio Colosseo with whom I have now been working for over 10 years. If ever you take a tour around Florence it could well be my voice that guides you through the city! Rich, well-spoken, clear and precise, I can also do various regional accents.
