James Sheppard

James Sheppard is a voice actor with over 20 years combined experience in voice-over, broadcasting, and audio production. VOICE STYLE/TYPE: James have a versatile bass voice, ranging from deep and soothing to personable and even booming while still maintaining clear and articulate annunciation. Typically, his voice is reminiscent of Tim Allen or George Clooney with the flexibility to perform ages ranging from early 30's through mid 50's. Key words that have been used to describe his voice-over style include: conversational, friendly, knowledgeable, genuine, confident, believable, guy next door, sincere, corporate, informative, relatable, sophisticated, and professional. ACCENTS: Although born and initially raised in West Virginia with a Southern Appalachian accent, James picked up the subtleties of a number of American accents due to relocation within the eastern United States. He is most fluent in those ranging from North and South Midland, although he can also impart a touch of Central Pennsylvania Dutch or Eastern New England. James can also incorporate these accents naturally into dialog, even moving abruptly from one extreme to another if the characters require. BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY: James' understands the importance of working closely with his clients to breathe life into their message.
