As a new employee, you have joined a large multistate family of companies. We call that family the imperium constellation because our business model is unique. You may not understand how all the pieces fit together. So that's where a little friend. Busy B comes in. Busy Bee is going to help explain the imperium constellation and how you fit into our family or should I say hive? So let's start at the beginning. What is imperium imperium is our parent company consisting of a small number of direct employees. Imperium sole purpose is to grow. This is because the bigger the constellation becomes the better the benefits are for all of the other companies. Wait then Busy B if imperium is the parent company, what is A P surfaces? A PS services is a subsidiary of imperium and acts as our back office, shared services company. So the purpose of A PS services is to provide the financial services, human resources benefits and insurance, information technology and legal support to all the other companies in our constellation. There are about 150 employees who work in these back office areas and we call them a proper employees OK, so that brings us to the most important part of our constellation and that is our affiliate companies. We have many different affiliate companies throughout our constellation. And chances are that you now work for one of them. Our affiliate companies are the ones that actually provide the services to the populations that we support. Now, here is where it gets tricky or should I say sticky. How do you as a new employee fit into this? Well, as a new employee, any employee in our constellation, you are an employee of a PS services. So your paycheck will say A PS on it and you will get your benefits from the A PS benefits department and you are subject to the A PS employee handbook. But for many of you, it won't end there because if you were hired to work for one of our affiliate companies, then even though you are technically an API S employee, you will be assigned to that affiliate company to do your work directly for them. So your work site will be with that affiliate and you'll have to comply with all of their rules and procedures. Who that was a lot of information. Busy Bee. Thanks for your help.
