When it comes to your Ebay business managing thousands upon thousands of listings can become a tricky process With Ebay's bulk listing update tools, you can create new listings or revise active listing information quickly and without advanced technical skills. But what exactly is Vile Exchange and how can you use it to make both changes to your listings? Well, using the bulk uploading tools affect the other information currently within your list stinks and most importantly, how long does it take to update your listings when using these tools? File exchange is a free subscription service within your seller dashboard that allows you to quickly and efficiently manage and update your inventory. It's as simple as downloading your inventory file into one of our pre filled templates, editing the listing information you wish to change and uploading the changes to your Ebay account. Once successfully uploaded the changes that you make with file exchange are typically ready within 24 hours. To begin, I log into your seller dashboard and scroll down to the selling tools section, click on the file exchange option. If you are not already subscribed to file exchange, go to the file exchange homepage and click sign up now. Next choose and download a template for your updates. By clicking on the download files option beneath the download section, on the left hand side of the page. From here, choose the active option. Under the listings and records. Drop down menu, make sure that both file exchange and revised price and quantity have been selected under the download format options. You can also customize the file data by date range. Make sure to enter the email address that you wish to have the file sent to and hit. Save. You will receive an email notification. Once your file is available for download, click on the link provided in the email to access this file, then click download. Once the template downloads, you can begin to make your edits. Be sure to keep the headings formatted correctly and that all required. Asterisk fields have been filled out to use the out of stock option with vile Exchange, highlight the item, ID column. Make sure that you have the email address that you want your files sent to entered in this section, choose the dot c S V file with your updates and click upload. Once you've uploaded the file, you can check which listings were successfully updated and which listings may have had errors by clicking on the view. Upload results under the upload section on the left hand side of the page, successfully updated listings will show as completed under the status section of the file receipt history.
