I've been doing voices since as long as I can remember. My favorite toy as a kid was my tape recorder into which my sister and I would read and act out those storybook albums like "Jack and the Beanstalk", "E.T." or "Cinderella". I would also do lame toothpaste commercials and imitations (that I thought were pretty good although I had an orthodontic contraption in my mouth that made me sound like Sid Sloth drinking a slurpee). Good times... anyway, enough background nostalgia... flash forward, I'm all grown-up now & I have a very versatile voice and range. I can reach the lower registers for a sultry, sexy style if necessary (Kathleen Turner-esque) or a very professional, grounded tone. My normal voice is energetic, friendly, genuine, girl-next-door, Mom-ish and can also be sarcastic, humorous and witty. In my upper ranges I can believably sound like a tween or teen girl. I have very clear diction from theater training, and I can sing if you need it! I specialize in characters and dialects & can perform a wide variety them: British, Cockney, New York, Irish, Indian, Russian, Australian, Pirate, Southern-Texan, Southern-Georgian, French, Midwest-Minnesotian, German, African -American, Caribbean and Latino.
