I don't think there's anything worse than the unwritten rules of baseball. Like seriously? What if it's meant to be a rule? Put it in the rule book. If it's not, I don't want to hear your lip. So let's have another glaring example. Most of you have seen this now. But the fallout in the whining continues, Fernando tattoos Jr as an up and comer for the san, Diego Padres. And early this week in a grand slam in the eighth. Pretty exciting, right? That was huge. Well the Padres opponents, the texas rangers are furious Because the Padres were already up 10 3 before the homer and the count was three balls, no strikes. And so apparently in their mind that he was showing us up by trying to hit a home run. Yeah I don't care. So the rangers response they threw behind the next batter to send a message. Well after the game the rangers manager chris Woodward said there's a lot of unwritten rules that are constantly being challenged in today's game. I didn't like it personally. I don't care I don't care. Get better pitching. That's a really good start. If you really want to be competitive in the mix, get a better staff. Baseball doesn't have a salary cap. So somebody needs to pony up the wallet. That's how that works. The rest of the league's play with the salary cap. So the good are good because they can manage money and talent.
